Sam Levitt is a trusted guide, strategist, and mentor dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. As the Founder and Principal of The Hearthstone Group, Sam brings a distinctive blend of expertise, empathy, discretion, and results-driven coaching to every client engagement. He is a Certified Life, Recovery, and Mental Health Coach, Certified Recovery Peer Advocate, and Internationally Certified Family Recovery Coach, with nearly a decade of experience across client-facing, management, and executive roles within the wellness, recovery, and mental health space.
Sam’s coaching philosophy centers on meeting clients where they are and empowering them to reach where they want to be. Whether supporting individuals seeking personal growth, professional clarity, or a stronger sense of purpose, or guiding families through complex and emotionally charged transitions, Sam utilizes a holistic, whole-person approach grounded in mindset, resilience, structure, and long-term success. His ability to ask thoughtful questions, offer practical strategies, and provide steady accountability makes him a valued partner in transformation.
A significant portion of Sam’s work involves supporting individuals and families who require an elevated level of discretion, privacy, and personalization in their care. He understands the unique pressures, visibility, and complexities that can accompany affluence, family systems, business leadership, and public-facing roles. Sam is experienced in collaborating with attorneys, therapists, treatment providers, family offices, and other trusted advisors to ensure clients receive coordinated, confidential, and solutions-oriented support. His concierge-style coaching model is designed to integrate seamlessly into clients’ lives while protecting dignity, reputation, and autonomy.
Before entering the coaching field, Sam studied classical music performance, an education that instilled discipline, emotional expression, and a deep appreciation for the human experience. His career later led him into the high-stakes world of fine art, where he served as Director and Principal Auctioneer for a major gallery with locations in the Northeast and South Florida. Operating in fast-paced, high-pressure environments refined his poise, intuition, and ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics; skills that now inform his coaching work.
Outside of his professional life, Sam is an avid adventurer with a deep love for the beach, skiing, and the outdoors. He believes balance, passion, and purpose are not luxuries, but necessities for a well-lived life; principles he helps his clients cultivate as part of their own growth journeys.
Above all, Sam is a champion for his clients. He is committed to helping them unlock their potential, overcome barriers, and celebrate progress at every stage. His approach blends compassion with structure and accountability, ensuring that clients not only set meaningful goals, but achieve them in ways that are sustainable and deeply fulfilling.
